Setting goals is a great way to turn your dreams into a reality, whether it's related to your health, career, school, blog, or business. The key thing to remember, however, is that anyone can make a list of things they want to accomplish, but many stop thinking about them the moment after they're written down. Today I'm sharing ten actionable ways that will help achieve your goals and actually keep them.
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas (if you celebrate)! When I was little it was kind of a tradition for me to go to the mall with my mom and grandmother to spend my Christmas money. Nowadays I rather shop online in my pajamas and avoid the crazy crowds, so I thought I would share some of my top sale picks from my favorite stores along with what sales are going on today. A lot of places are having killer deals (like ASOS) and you have to jump on something quick or it'll sell out. Happy shopping!
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas if you're celebrating today! I've honestly never felt so blessed and appreciated by so many people before. Make sure to practice gratitude today, because the holidays aren't about how many gifts you gave or received, but about spreading love and kindness to those around you. I'm spending my day with loved ones cozied up in pajamas sipping on coffee by the fire place.
What is everyone up to for the holidays?

Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? I visited my boyfriend (we're in a LDR) for his birthday and it rained the whole time :( We did get some snow Saturday morning, but it quickly turned to rain and ice. So, of course my plans for a photo shoot were ruined, but I did manage to snap some quick #OOTD shots of what I wore yesterday for brunch featuring this (vegan) suede moto jacket from Sans Souci. I really love the color and shape to it, but it's definitely more suited for the spring time. The weather was mild and a little humid yesterday so I got away with wearing it comfortably. I've learned to be grateful for rainy days and "ruined plans" because it's a reminder that life doesn't always go according to plan and allows you to embrace spontaneity.
Christmas is a week away, what?!? I know a lot of us still have our holiday shopping to do, so I'm sharing another gift guide to help ya out! We all have that one person in our life that is always busy, putting others before themselves, and never takes a break. My mom is guilty of this and I'm always telling her to take a second to breath! Constantly being busy and stressed out is not good for our health, so I'm a huge advocate for taking care of our physical and mental health in order to maintain a happy life. Today I'm sharing 13 gifts that promote self love and self care that are perfect for a spa night with the girls, someone who wants to embrace a more mindful lifestyle, or the up and go mom that deserves a couple hours all to herself.
Wait, what? You're saying you love things about winter?? Oh yes I am!
Winter is here guys whether we want to believe it or not. Sunday morning I woke up to a light snow fall causing me to leap off of my friend's couch and stare out the window. It's that feeling of excitement that makes me happy during this time of the year, because why should I be miserable until March? It's not worth it. Here are 10 things I love about winter:
Fujifilm Instax Mini + Film Print photography will always remain superior to digital, lets be honest. Polaroids are a fun spin on film and captures the reality of any setting.
iPhone Camera Lens This is a fun little device that gives your photos a wide angle or "fish eye" effect and doubles as a macro lens too.
Humans of New York: Stories Started as a photo blog by Brandon Stanton, Humans of New York has become widely popular on social media and shares portraits of individuals of all walks of life with accompanying stories about their lives.
Camera Strap You can get personal with the fabric and print and is a practical gift!
Portable External Hard Drive A photographer can never have too many of these to back up their files.
In Focus: National Geographic Greatest Portraits Another photography book. Seeing images in print is so much better than on a screen, especially National Geographic portraits! Photography books are perfect for coffee table reading or decor.
Lens Travel Mug My friend actually got me this and I had to include it on here!
Phone Camera Kit This is perfect for the person always snapping on their phones. It comes with lens attachments and a mini tripod, but of course, an actual tripod is a good gift too!
GoPro Who wouldn't love to receive one for Christmas?
Burrito Lens Wrap This is such a fun and practical gift if your photo lover is also a burrito lover!
Camera Pillow Just a cute decor pillow to spice up a living space or bedroom.
Are you shopping for any photographer lovers? What's your favorite pick of the bunch?

Happy Friday! Lets talk about a fabric that comes out into rotation every winter...corduroy! It's super warm and is always in trend, what's not to love about it? Another fabric that's going to be huge this winter is shearling, which I've styled in a denim version here. The jacket I'm wearing here is the best of both worlds and I love the beige color--neutral, but still adds a little pop! I also love this sweater because it's SO warm to the point that I've gotten hot in it on a cold winter day.
FitBits are going to be under a lot of Christmas trees this year, so it's definitely a go-to fitness tech gift idea!
Protein Powder is honestly something I would love to receive as a gift because it's so expensive! I picked out an organic planet based one here in a chocolate flavor. You can find so many other kinds on Amazon if this isn't what you're looking for.
Gift Sets are always a good gift idea. This one comes with a journal with an inspiring message, blender bottle, and key chain.
Workout Tees are something a gym junkie can never have enough of! If you aren't sure what the person would like, go for a neutral color by a name brand they like. Or go for a slogan tank: this one is so cute!
Fitness Journals are a perfect way to get motivated for setting 2017 goals and keeping on track with them.
Water Bottles are an easy and inexpensive gift. I really love my Nalgene one.
Yoga Mats are perfect for the beginner yogi or the girl that has neglected buying one for herself (that was me).
Yoga Straps are perfect for anyone that attends group classes or likes to take their yoga mat on the go (outside yoga is the best!)
Sneakers are a good option if you know the person's shoe size, obviously!
Foam Rollers are probably an unexpected gift, but the receiver will love it to ease their muscles after a workout to increase recovery time & range of motion and prevent injury.
Wireless Headphones are perfect for the gym because you won't have to get tangled up in wires. Also perfect for people that watch Youtube videos on their phone to workout.
Resistance Bands (and yoga blocks) are another accessory some people might neglect to buy for themselves. It's perfect for taking your workouts to the next level!
Are you shopping for anyone that is into health and fitness? Would you purchase any of these for yourself?

Happy Monday babes! How was everyone's weekend? I start my first week in my new full time position I talked about in this post and I'm so excited! Today's post is all about faux fur...specifically white faux fur coats which you can find in pretty much every store this season--it's so on trend!
(I honestly didn't mean to make the title of this post rhyme LOL, it just happened!)
It's December...whattt?? This whole week has been rainy and dark and it's been impossible to take ANY photos. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I've been posting old photos and (kind of) complaining about it. But I digress...
Black and blue...a classic color combination that is moody enough to fit this week's weather and is easy to wear. (Any Backstreet Boys fans that played this album over and over?) The blue in these Topshop jeans really pop, taking the denim to a new level. Paired with a black oversized cardigan, chunky boots, and beanie, I put together a simple, yet edgy look perfect for fall.
