T.J. Maxx: $15
Finally got to feed my T.J. Maxx addiction. I love popping in for a browse and am always on the hunt for nail polish since they carry Essie and OPI. I found OPI's "Be There in a Prosecco" which is a creamy off-white color that I love! Also got some coffee related items and a set of three notebooks that each say "ideas," "plans," and "thoughts." So cute!
Nike Roshe One: $60 featured in Currently Loving: Nike Roshe One
Topshop Kimi Loafer: $48 (originally $68, used $20 rewards coupon) as seen in #OOTD: Happy Halloween
I'm still on the fence about these shoes. I bought a half size down because I thought it wouldn't be an issue, but the more I wear them the more it bothers me how tight they are (they didn't have my size in store). Nordstrom doesn't really have a return policy, so I want to try and exchange them for a 7 if they can order them online
Primark Cropped Hoodie: $9 as seen in How to Wear the Athleisure Trend
Black Cardigan: $19.90 (Sold out online)
Cream Cardigan: $22.90 as seen in Chunky Cardigans for Fall
Forever 21: $43
I picked up these two cardigans to take to Maine with me and am so happy with them! I finally have a nice cardigan collection again.
Total October Expenditures: $202
Came out a little over my $150 I've been averaging, but I did purchase two pairs of shoes, two cardigans, and a bunch of makeup, so I think this is a decent total for October, especially since I didn't spend any money last month! I stuck with things I specifically wanted to add to my wardrobe (shoes + sweaters) and resisted any other indulges (okay, except the cropped hoodie, but Primark got me there.) The makeup was a bit of a extreme, which just goes to show how much money people put towards Halloween, which is absolutely ridiculous! At least I bought makeup products and brushes that I will definitely be using again.
What did you buy last month? Is there anything in particular you are saving up for this November?
