So the title...I had to! If you didn't know, the east coast got SLAMMED by Winter Storm Jonas. My town got 27 inches of snow...and places south of me GOT EVEN MORE. I think West Virginia got like 3 and a half feet. INSANITY. My car was completely buried, my parking lot a complete mess (you can see in the background of these photos), my job was closed for 2 days...such an incredibly historic storm. My dad said the most he's ever experienced was 18 inches...I just kept saying unbelievable in my head as I shoveled and shoveled for hours and hours. Besides all this weather talk, I am excited to share these photos as I'm really happy with how they came out! You can expect a snowy background in my photos for a couple of months now, lol.
I'm obsessed with these Chelsea boots from Public Desire. I've been wanting a pair for a while now, as they are a wardrobe staple, so I decided to purchase these. They actually fared pretty well in the snow, although they do slide on indoor surfaces like linoleum (gotta watch that). For $40 they are pretty good quality, comfortable, and are super stylish!
I styled them around these vintage mom jeans I've showcased on here for a while (they always pop up around winter for some reason) and I recently became re-obsessed with them (does anyone else do that with clothes?) I love finding new ways to style clothing, that's when you know you have a staple piece to last you forever! Also picked up this Nike mock neck sweatshirt at the thrift store along with some other gems I can't wait to style when it becomes warmer. Be sure to also check out my short OOTD video I posted on my Youtube channel! I started a seasonal OOTD series and this is my second installment. Let me know what you think :)
Lastly, I can't believe it's almost February and that it's a leap year! Who else is looking forward to Spring??
