Here's what I wore on Thanksgiving! It was mild that day, actually pretty nice so I convinced my brother to take pictures of my outfit because I lost my tripod's mounting plate :( So bummed, I probably need to buy a new tripod but avoiding it? Anyway, I got to hang with my bro and he got some cool shots. It was cool to hang out with him since I don't get to see him very often and we were never really close. It's cool we can bond as adults now.
I always come across the question, Adidas or Nike? And I think it's safe to say I'm an Adidas girl...although overall, I do like more styles of Nike shoes, but I LOVE Adidas Originals. I decided to post an Adidas appreciation post featuring my sneakers you've seen before and this windbreaker jacket I've had since 5th grade. Lol, no joke I remember wearing this on a field trip to an amusement park (I have photo proof too!) And I've mentioned this before, but I've had these sneakers since 6th grade. I was a real tomboy back in the day, and the inner archivist in me decided to keep these gems because I knew I would still want to wear them...15 years later.
I've been really into crew neck sweatshirts lately because they are comfy, casual, and cute. I really want a slogan sweatshirt, like one from Rad Company. Think I'm gonna make a holiday wishlist featuring one! Anyways, here is a royal blue and grey baseball style sweatshirt from Dressin that I paired with a black skater skirt and beanie for an edgy look. I've been seeing this color a lot in the blogosphere (Lily Melrose is really into it and Lua of LeHappy has a new post with a royal blue coat). It also has a nice warm lining in it so it keeps me toasty :)
Here's an easy fall look that's you can easy replicate: over sized sweater, leggings, and ankle boots. I'm obsessed with this roll neck sweater from CNDirect and it is only $8.99! I totally recommend it because it's super warm and great quality. It also has slits along the side of it which helps us shorties avoid looking like we're drowning in a big sweater. I'm also loving these Calvin Klein leggings that I scooped up at my local T.J. Maxx for $30. I found them in the active wear section and they are so comfy and super cute...totally worth the money.
Feelin' like a mime in this outfit haha. I was actually a mime for Halloween last year, but wore cute suspenders! Anyway, I've been M.I.A. all week because #school One of my best qualities is procrastination and I didn't start a 15 page paper that was due today until Monday. I powered through it (yesterday and today were longgg days) and am so relieved now! I can relax now until graduation, which is in a month, eep! And I also need to check out all y'alls posts, so sorry for not being active! Here's another fall look featuring this striped crop top from Dressin. I also just realized I look like a burglar in this too, lol!

Winter is coming! Or in some areas, already here. I'm teamed up with Banggood.com to share with you some of my top winter coat picks from their Winter Series line. The pieces I selected are pretty neutral and minimal and would pair well with any outfit. The first pick is a "coatigan" as I like to call them--half cardigan half coat. For #2, a girl can always use a plain black coat, am I right? I'm really digging the gray and navy color blocking in #3. Lastly, I chose a camel trench for my 4th pick because the color is so on trend at the moment. I would totally wear all of these...I love the over sized boxy feel of them--would look great with skinny jeans, a chunky sweater, and ankle boots. Are you currently looking for a new winter coat? What do you think of these pieces?

I'm styling this super cute necklace from Micha Store today! Based in Chicago, Micha Store is an online accessory retailer run by four friends. Their fashion jewelry comes in a range of styles for those who like a glam and chic look to those like me who likes something simple. I went with a sporty minimal look to play up the simplicity of the necklace.
