Blessed

November 30, 2015

Here's what I wore on Thanksgiving! It was mild that day, actually pretty nice so I convinced my brother to take pictures of my outfit because I lost my tripod's mounting plate :( So bummed, I probably need to buy a new tripod but avoiding it? Anyway, I got to hang with my bro and he got some cool shots. It was cool to hang out with him since I don't get to see him very often and we were never really close. It's cool we can bond as adults now.

Going home and seeing my family was great, I was really looking forward to it. I can't wait until Christmas now, haha. Spending my last two weeks of graduate school reflecting on my accomplishments and thankful for everyone that has supported me on this strange journey. I was actually offered an archiving job today and I think I'm going to accept it. It's not the best-case scenario (only part time, lower pay than expected) but it's a starting place for my career and I knew that when I pursued archival work.

Okay, this post is becoming a weird ramble now and you've all probably lost interest! Anyway, just wanna say I feel *blessed* to have all y'all reading and commenting on this thing I call my blog <3 p="">

  1. Congrats on the job offer! Any job after college is a blessing and the work experience you gain will get you ready for bigger goals. Also so nice of your brother to take these pictures, I can't imagine getting my brother to do that (I force my friends or boyfriend to take my photos haha). Love the pattern on the coat as well!

  3. In love with your coat, Sheila, and it's wonderful that you got to bond with your brother. My brother and I are really close but he's in Germany right now (6 hours away!) so we don't get to talk as often now.

Congrats on the job offer; lots of love and good luck! <3
