Witch Vibes Only

October 31, 2015

I know I can't be the only one out there who wishes they were a witch. If you saw my Summer Witch Vibes post from the summer than you already know I'm obsessed with American Horror Story Coven and how I wish they would make a spin-off series of it. I really just want to throw people against the wall with my mind, that's all! Anyway, here's a witch-inspired look for the fall time in this midi dress from Dressin that I LOVE. It's so comfy and a great length, even if you are short like me and feel weird in dresses that go past your knee. I guess the fact that it has a high waist line and stops right below the knee helps too. And don't forget a nice heel for extra height.

Apparently the dress comes in wine red too, but the web site doesn't have any pictures sooo, if you like surprises opt for that one? I also got a size medium for reference if you're unsure of how it'll fit (I'm 5'3"). It's made of polyester and spandex so it is pretty stretchy.

One last thing I would like to say is that I've never been really huge on Halloween costumes. I guess being the ironic girl I am, I rather dress "normal" on the holiday and "weird" every other day. What are your thoughts on Halloween and costumes? I know the holiday isn't really big in other countries, but America friggin' loves it.

But um, tomorrow is November. What?

  8. Halloween definitely seems to be hyped up the most in America haha - especially all the haunted things. I love that your outfit is more toned down, it's witchy without being pointed hat and warts witchy.

  13. I LOVED American Horror Story Coven, they filmed it in New Orleans near where I used to live, so that's probably why, but I loved the story. I hate this season (oops) so I totally wish they'd just make a spin-off Coven series. Also, love the color of this dress for you, great for fall. I think Halloween can be fun, but I never go too overboard with it. I'm a Thanksgiving + Christmas kinda girl.

    1. Thanks Laura! The New Orleans setting definitely fit the show so well! I need to watch Hotel once I get some time to binge watch. I am a bit excited for the upcoming holidays to be honest, lol.
