My style is definitely changing as I am slowly "growing up." I mean, I bought a pair of nude heels the other day! With that said, I'd like to talk about Sherry London, an online shop based in the UK that specializes in formal dresses perfect for parties, prom, homecoming, and weddings. Now I'm way passed attending any homecomings or proms, but parties and weddings are definitely events I am dreaming about attending in the near future. If I could just go to one fancy-smancy party in my life, I would die happy. I have teamed up with Sherry London to show you all some dresses perfect for any autumn party, real or imaginary! And of course I have ideas about how to dress these pieces down, because I am one of practicality and getting multiple uses out of clothing. I got you girrrrl!
Can we talk about how cute this two piece is? I always thought two piece sets for formal occasions such as prom was a different way to dress up rather than the typical long gown. And the best part is that you can re-wear these pieces separately and in more casual outfits! The top would be cute to dress down with a pair of high waisted jeans. Shop the dress here.
I am actually kind of in love with this white lace dress, mostly because it is giving me Game of Thrones vibes with its gold details. The lace totally reminds me of For Love and Lemons, so ethereal! This would be perfect for a day time party, especially if you live in L.A. and the weather permits you. I would add a jean jacket and black thigh-high socks to dress this down for every day wear (yes, you can totally dress this down!) Shop the dress here.
I am totally loving this Grecian inspired pink evening dress. Now this piece I don't see myself dressing down, I think it would be that *one* piece fit specifically for a formal occasion. Shop the dress here.
I hope you found some inspiration in these dresses, or maybe you are actually in search of an evening dress. Let me know down below which was your favorite.
Q: Have you been to a fancy party before?
